Decline in export price of fresh salmon

A telecoms service sub-contractor that is used for customs declarations experienced a stoppage in its EDI traffic in the period 19 September to 21 September. The stoppage occurred at 3am on Saturday, and was not rectified until around 9.30am on Monday. As a result, customs declarations sent from declarants using the aforementioned supplier during this period of time were not processed in TVINN (The Customs electronic declaration system) until Monday morning.

Consequently, these declarations are registered in the period 21 September to 27 September. Thus the figures for salmon quantities are somewhat too high.

For this reason we have decided not to present text with changes in percentages.
