Decline in export price of fresh salmon

A telecoms service sub-contractor that is used for customs declarations experienced a stoppage in its EDI traffic at the weekend. The stoppage occurred at 3am on Saturday, and was not rectified until around 9.30am on Monday. As a result, customs declarations sent from declarants using the aforementioned supplier during this period of time were not processed in TVINN (The Customs electronic declaration system) until Monday morning. Consequently, the figures on salmon quantities for the period 14 September to 20 September are somewhat low. For the same reason, the quantities for the period 21 September to 27 September will be too high.

 

As a result of the information above, we have decided on this occasion not to present text with changes in percentages.
