Increase in outbound trips

Norwegians aged 16-79 took 2.1 million trips abroad with at least one overnight stay during the 4th quarter of 2012; an increase of 21 per cent compared to the same quarter in 2011. Total outbound overnight stays reached 11.9 million in the 4th quarter of 2012, which corresponds to an increase of 5 per cent.
