More travelling abroad
In the first quarter of 2007, 1.89 million Norwegians aged 16-79 went on trips involving at least one overnight stay. This is a decrease of 1 per cent compared with the first quarter of 2006.
The number of trips abroad increased by 17 per cent compared with the first quarter of 2006. The number of business trips abroad increased by 7 per cent, while the number of holiday trips increased by 22 per cent.
