EEA consumer prices up 2.0 per cent

The harmonized index of consumer prices (HICP) for the EEA was 113.7 (1996=100) in November. The year-to-year change in the EEA was 2.0 per cent in November. In comparison, the year-to-year growth in Norway was 1.5 per cent in November.

The HICP in the Euro-zone was 113.9 in November. The year-to-year growth in November was 2.2 per cent, up from 2.0 per cent in October.

For Norway the HICP was 116.4 in November, up 0.3 per cent from October. From November 2002 to November 2003 the consumer prices rose by 1.5 per cent, down from 1.6 per cent in October.
