EEA consumer prices up 1.9 per cent

The harmonized index of consumer prices (HICP) for the EEA was 111.6 in September (1996=100), up 0.4 per cent from August. The year-to-year growth was 1.9 per cent in September, the same as in August.

The HICP in the Euro-zone was 111.7 in September, up 0.3 per cent from August. The year-to-year growth in September was 2.1 per cent, the same as the previous month.

For Norway the HICP was 114.1, up 0.7 per cent from August. The year-to-year change in the consumer prices was 1.2 per cent.
