EEA consumer prices up 1.8 per cent

The harmonized index of consumer prices (HICP) for the EEA was 111.1 in July (1996=100), down 0.2 per cent from June. The year-to-year growth was 1.8 per cent in July, compared to 1.6 per cent in June.

The HICP in the Euro-zone was 111.3 in July, down 0.2 per cent from June. The year-to-year growth in July was 1.9 per cent, up from 1.8 per cent in June.

For Norway the HICP was 113.7, down 0.1 per cent from June. The year-to-year change in the consumer prices was 1.2 per cent.
