Wholesale prices increased 0.8 per cent

Wholesale prices increased by 0.8 per cent from the 3rd quarter to the 4th quarter of 2014 and are 3.8 per cent higher than the same quarter in the previous year.

Food, beverages and tobacco increased by 1.6 per cent from the 3rd to the 4th quarter of 2014. The increase for the year as a whole was 7.4 per cent. Food, beverages and tobacco account for 30 per cent of turnover within the wholesale trade.
