Wholesale prices up 0.8 per cent

Wholesale prices increased by 0.8 per cent from the 2nd quarter of 2012 to the 3rd quarter of 2012 and are 3.5 per cent higher than the same quarter last year.

Prices of solid, liquid and gaseous fuels and related products increased by 4.0 per cent from the 2nd quarter to the 3rd quarter of 2012 and increased by 11.3 per cent in one year. Wholesale of solid, liquid and gaseous fuels account for 16 per cent of turnover within the wholesale trade.
