Wholesale prices increased by 1.4 per cent

Wholesale prices increased by 1.4 per cent from the 2nd to the 3rd quarter of 2009. Compared to the third quarter in 2008, however, the wholesale prices decreased by 2.0 per cent. Fuel prices increased by 7.4 per cent from the 2nd to the 3rd quarter of 2009, but showed a 17.2 per cent decrease compared to the 3rd quarter of 2008.
