Small changes in plumbing costs

The construction costs of plumbing works in office and commercial buildings rose by 0.2 per cent from April to May this year. The labour cost increased by 0.7 per cent, while the material costs remained unchanged in the same period.

Wage statistics for the first quarter of 2010 are included in the index of May, and this is the main reason for the cost increase.

From May 2009 to May 2010 the costs of plumbing work in office and commercial buildings rose by 1.8 per cent. The costs of sanitary installations increased by 3.3 per cent, while the costs of heating installations remained unchanged in the same period.
