Plumbing costs up 0.4 per cent

The construction costs of plumbing works in office and commercial buildings increased by 0.4 per cent from January to February this year. Labour costs rose by 0.9 per cent and are the main reason for the increase.

From February 2009 to February 2010 the costs of plumbing work in office and commercial buildings rose by 2.2 per cent. The costs of sanitary installations and heating installations increased by 2.5 and 1.8 per cent respectively in the same period.

Wage statistics for the fourth quarter of 2009 are included in the index of February this year.
