Plumbing costs up 4 per cent

The construction costs of plumbing works in office and commercial buildings increased by 4.0 per cent from September 2008 to September 2009. The material costs rose by 5.0 per cent in the same period.

The costs of sanitary installations and heating installations increased by 2.9 and 5.0 per cent respectively, while the material costs rose by 3.3 and 7.2 per cent in the same period.

From August to September this year, the construction costs of plumbing works in office and commercial buildings rose by 0.1 per cent, while material costs remained unchanged.
