Construction costs up 2.1 per cent

The construction costs of residential buildings increased by 2.1 per cent from December 2014 to December 2015. The material costs rose by 2.8 per cent in the same period.

From December 2014 to December 2015, the construction costs of detached houses of wood and multi-dwelling houses increased by 2.2 and 2.0 per cent respectively.

From November to December 2015, the construction costs of multi-dwelling houses increased by 0.1 per cent, while detached houses of wood remained unchanged in the same period.
