Minor changes in construction costs
The construction costs of residential buildings increased by 0.4 per cent from December 2012 to January 2013. The material costs rose by 0.7 per cent in the same period.

From December last year to January this year the construction costs of detached houses of wood and multi-dwelling houses increased by 0.4 and 0.5 per cent respectively. From January 2012 to January 2013 the costs of detached houses of wood rose by 3.1 per cent, while multi-dwelling houses increased by 3 per cent in the same period.
