Construction costs increase

The construction costs of residential buildings increased by 0.4 per cent from February to March this year, and are 3.8 per cent higher than in March one year ago.

From February to March this year, the construction costs of multi-dwelling houses increased by 0.5 per cent. The costs of detached houses of wood rose by 0.4 per cent in the same period. From March 2010 to March 2011 the costs of multi-dwelling houses and detached houses of wood increased by 3.9 and 3.7 per cent respectively.
