The construction costs of residential buildings increased by 0.5 per cent from September to October this year, while the material costs rose by 0.9 per cent in the same period.

From September to October this year, construction costs of multi-dwelling houses rose by 0,6 per cent, while detached houses of wood saw a 0.5 per cent increase. The material costs of multi-dwelling houses and detached houses of wood rose by 1,0 and 0.8 per cent respectively.

From October 2007 to October 2008 the construction costs of multi-dwelling houses and detached houses of wood increased by 6.6 and 4.6 per cent respectively.
