Construction costs up 3.2 per cent

The construction costs of residential buildings increased by 3.2 per cent in October 2005 compared with October 2004. The construction costs of multi-dwelling houses and detached houses increased by 3.5 and 3.1 per cent respectively in the same period. During the last month the construction costs of detached houses rose by 0.3 per cent, while multi-dwelling houses increased by 0.2 per cent.
