Increased costs for electrical installations

The cost of electrical equipment increased by 1.2 per cent for detached houses and 0.9 per cent for multi-dwelling houses in June compared with May this year. The index for electrical installations for detached houses and multi-dwelling houses rose by 0.5 and 0.3 per cent respectively.

The index of residential buildings remained unchanged in June compared with May this year. Material cost increased by 0.1 per cent in the same period.

On an annual basis, the construction costs of residential buildings rose by 3.1 per cent from June last year to June this year. Material costs rose by 2.2 per cent in the same period.
