Few changes in approved budget

In the 2014 approved central government budget the total revenue amounts to NOK 1 293 billion, while expenditure totals NOK 1 116 billion. This is approximately the same as the budget proposal that was presented in November last year.

Central government revenue has decreased by NOK 22 billion, or 1.7 per cent, compared to the approved budget for 2013. Expenditure has increased by NOK 59 billion, which is an increase of 4.7 per cent from the previous year.

Surplus before net transfers to the Government Pension Fund Global is NOK 177 billion in the 2014 budget. This is a decrease of NOK 73 billion compared to the approved budget for 2013.
