In the central government budget proposal for 2013, the total revenue and expenditure amount to NOK 1 314 and 1 065 billion respectively.

Central government revenue has increased by NOK 77 billion, or 6.2 per cent, compared to the approved budget for 2012. Expenditure has increased by 5.8 per cent, or NOK 59 billion.
