Decrease in total tax payments

Payments through the advance tax arrangement have increased in the first three quarters of 2015. Low payments of petroleum taxes have caused a decrease in total tax payments.

A total of NOK 506 billion has been paid through the advance tax arrangement so far this year. This is NOK 22 billion, or 4.5 per cent, more than in the corresponding period of 2014. Taxes to local authorities and county authorities have increased by about NOK 6 billion, or 5.1 per cent.

While taxes paid through the advance tax arrangement have increased, payments through the non-personal taxpaying arrangement have decreased by more than NOK 41 billion. Petroleum taxes have decreased by NOK 35 billion and tax equalization contributions from non-personal taxpayers have decreased by almost NOK 7 billion from the first three quarters of 2014 to the first three quarters of 2015.

Taxes on dividends to foreign shareholders adjustedOpen and readClose

From January 2015, the sum of taxes on dividends to foreign shareholders is adjusted to account for repayments to shareholders exempted from this tax. So far this year, the sum of repayments is about NOK 1.3 billion.
