More income to the municipalities

A year has passed since the change in income system rules that led to municipalities receiving less taxes. The tax income for the municipalities is now starting to increase again. So far this year, taxes received by the municipalities have increased by NOK 844 million to NOK 35 billion, which corresponds to a 3 per cent increase. Taking only the payments received in March 2011 compared to March 2010, the increase has been 9.9 per cent.

Merging of municipalities

The municipalities of Mosvik and Inderøy were merged as Inderøy. In table 3, the changes in per cent from last year will be based on the sum of the two municipalities last year.
