The statistics have been updated based on new accounting information and tax estimates. Central government revenue is revised down by NOK 4 billion, mainly due to lower taxes. Meanwhile, the central government expenditure has been reduced by NOK 2 billion, partly as a result of new figures for public hospitals and universities.

Increased deficit in local government

The deficit in local government for 2013 has increased to NOK 23.4 billion, measured in book value. Local government expenditure, including fixed capital formation, is revised up by NOK 4.5 billion, while the revenue is revised down by NOK 900 million. The figures have changed due to the incorporation of new accounts from municipalities and counties.
