Enterprises established by men live longer

Enterprises established by men have a higher survival rate after five years than enterprises established by women. A total of 26 per cent of personally owned enterprises established by men in 2002 were still in business in 2007. The corresponding figure for enterprises with female owners was 20 per cent.
