The turnover in water supply; sewerage, waste management and remediation activities was NOK 4.2 billion in September and October 2011.

Companies that are engaged in the collection of non-hazardous waste had a turnover of NOK 1.6 billion in September and October 2011; an increase of 12.2 per cent compared with the corresponding period in 2010.

The turnover in the recovery of sorted materials was also NOK 1.6 billion in September and October 2011. This is a decrease of 4.6 per cent compared with the corresponding period in 2010.
