Increasing turnover

The turnover in water supply; sewerage management and remediation activities was NOK 3.0 billion in January and February 2010. This is an increase of 18 per cent compared with the same period last year.

The greatest increase is within businesses dealing with materials recovery, which had a turnover of NOK 944 million in the first period of 2010. This is an increase of 23.2 per cent compared with the same period in 2009.

Companies that are engaged in the collection of non-hazardous waste represent the largest industry group. These companies had a total turnover of NOK 1.3 billion; an increase of 12.7 per cent compared with the same period in 2009.
