Growth in turnover in sewage and sanitation

The turnover in sewage and refuse disposal, sanitation and similar activities was NOK 2.1 billion in the third period of 2007. This is an increase of 9 per cent compared with the same period the previous year.

Sewage and refusal disposal. NOK million.

Businesses dealing with collection and treatment of other waste had an increase by 10 and turnover raised to almost NOK 1.9 million.

Within sanitation, remediation and similar activities the increase in turnover was 7 per cent in the third period of 2007, to NOK 62 million.

Businesses dealing with collection and treatment of sewage had a turnover of NOK 188 million. This is an increase equal to 1 per sent compared with the same period the previous year.
