Turnover increase in sewage and sanitation

The turnover in sewage and refuse disposal, sanitation and similar activities, amounted to more than NOK 2.2 billion in March and April of 2007. This is an increase of 14 per cent compared with the same period in 2006.

In the second period of 2007, businesses dealing with collection and treatment of other waste had an increase in the turnover of 15 per cent, compared with the same period in 2006. The turnover was NOK 1.9 billion.

The businesses dealing with sanitation, remediation and similar activities had a turnover of NOK 74 million in March and April of 2007. The turnover decreased by 14 per cent compared with the same period in 2006.

In the second period of 2007, the turnover in the businesses dealing with collection and treatment of sewage had a turnover of NOK 220 million, an increase of 20 per cent compared with the same period in 2006.
