Still growth in sewage and sanitation

The turnover in sewage and refuse disposal, sanitation and similar activities was almost NOK 1.9 billion in January and February of 2007. This is an increase of 14 per cent compared with the same period the previous year.

Sewage and refuse disposal. NOK million

Businesses dealing with collection and treatment of sewage had a turnover of NOK 140 million in January and February of 2007. This is a 14 per cent increase compared with the same period in 2006. The businesses dealing with sanitation, remediation and similar activities had a turnover of NOK 70 million in the same period. This is unchanged compared with the corresponding period in 2006.
