Sewage and refuse disposal, sanitation and similar activities, 4th period 2006

Businesses dealing with collection and treatment of sewage had a turnover of NOK 178 million in July and August of 2006. This is a 26 per cent increase compared with the same period in 2005. The businesses within sanitation, remediation and similar activities had a turnover of NOK 53 million in the same period. This is a 56 per cent decrease compared with the corresponding period in 2005.

In July and August of 2006, the turnover in the businesses dealing collection and treatment of other waste represented over 9/10 of the total turnover within sewage and refuse disposal. This subclass had a turnover of almost NOK 1.7 billion in the fourth period of 2006, an increase of 18 per cent compared with the same period in 2005.
