Financial and non-financial accounts (discontinued), 1995-2006

According to the EEA agreement Norway is obliged to report annual financial accounts to Eurostat. Data for 1996 – 2005, sent in October 2006, are based on Norges Bank's database for quarterly financial accounts, FINSE. Data for 1996 - 2005 are now presented on Norges Bank's web site in order to give users easy access to the data.

The data are presented in Excel format. Financial accounts for Norway are compiled by Statistics Norway and Norges Bank. A documentation of the Norwegian system of financial accounts (sector and instrument classification) is included in the Acrobat file.
