More than 81 billions to specialist health care

In 2006, total expenditures within specialist health care were NOK 81.2 billion including depreciation, an increase of 7.8 per cent compared with 2005. Total expenditures make an average of NOK 16 000 per inhabitant.

Expenditures for general hospitals amount to 58,6 billion, psychiatric health care for adults amount to 11,9 billion, psychiatric health care for children and adolescents amount to 2,4 billion and heath care and treatment of substance abuse to 2.3 billion.
