New growth in manufacturing

The output in manufacturing increased by 0.8 per cent in the period from September to November 2005, compared with the previous three months, according to seasonally adjusted figures.

The output in capital goods saw a 2.0 per cent improvement during this last period. A significant growth has taken place within oil platform and modules. These changes came from a high level of activity related to the Norwegian Continental shelf and to constructions and installations on land. Transport equipments and fabricated metal products have also seen an increase the production.

Intermediate goods
