Increased sales of diesel and gasoline

In August, sales of both diesel and gasoline increased. Combined sales ended at 464 million litres; a 32 million litre increase compared to August 2014.

In August, total sales of diesel amounted to 348 million litres. This equals a 28 million litre increase compared to August 2014. Sales of gasoline ended at 116 million litres; an increase of 4 million litres.

The average price of a litre of diesel was NOK 11.90, which represents a decrease of NOK 1.35 from August last year and a NOK 0.70 decrease from July to August this year.

A litre of gasoline on average cost NOK 14.35. This corresponds to a decrease of NOK 0.77 from August last year and a decrease of NOK 0.57 from July to August.
