Small increase in total sales of petroleum products

Total sales of petroleum products ended at 789 million litres in October this year. This is a small increase of 0.4 per cent or 3 million litres compared with October 2013.

In October this year, total sales of diesel amounted to 346 million litres. This equals an increase of 12 million litres compared to October 2013. The average price of a litre of diesel was NOK 12.82, which represents a decrease of NOK 0.62 from October 2013 and NOK 0.24 from September this year.

Sales of gasoline ended at 99 million litres; a decrease of 5 million litres from October 2013. A litre of gasoline on average cost NOK 14.60. This corresponds to a decrease of NOK 0.21 from October last year and a decrease of NOK 0.36 from September to October.
