Decrease in sales of petroleum products

Total sales of petroleum products ended at 809 million litres in October. This is 60 million litres less than in October 2012 and equals a 6.9 per cent decrease.

Total sales of auto diesel ended at 325 million litres, which is 6 million litres less than in October last year. At the same time, sales of motor gasoline decreased by 9 million litres, ending at 106 million litres. Sales of motor gasoline and auto diesel combined made up about 53 per cent of the total sales of petroleum products.

The average price for one litre of auto diesel was NOK 13.44; a NOK 0.23 increase from October 2012. One litre of motor gasoline costs NOK 14.81; NOK 0.04 less than in October last year.

There were 23 delivery days in October this year, the same as in October 2012. The figures for one of the participants in the marked is estimated du to missing data.
