In July this year, prices of engine fuel increased. The last time the level of prices was this high was September 2012.

In July, one litre of auto diesel cost on average NOK 13.31, which corresponds to an increase of NOK 0.55 or 4.3 per cent compared to July 2012. Compared to June this year, the price rose by NOK 0.47. The price of motor gasoline increased by NOK 0.52 or 3.6 per cent from July 2012 to July this year, ending at NOK 15.07. The price increase was NOK 0.46 from June to July this year.

Total sales of petroleum products ended at 797 million litres in July; a small decrease of 0.5 per cent from July last year. Sales of motor gasoline amounted to 131 million litres; a 2.2 per cent decrease. At the same time, sales of auto diesel increased by 4.5 per cent, ending at 300 million litres in July.

There were 23 delivery days in July, compared to 22 in July 2012.
