Decreased sales of petroleum products

Total sales of petroleum products ended at 806 million litres in November 2011. This is a reduction of 7.6 per cent compared to November 2010.

The total sales of auto diesel have had a steady increase in recent years, but in November 2011 the sales decreased by 3.4 per cent and ended at 310 million litres. One litre of auto diesel was NOK 13.18; an increase by 8.6 per cent compared to November 2010. Sales of motor gasoline ended at 111 million litres; a decrease of 9.2 per cent. The price of motor gasoline was NOK 14.31 for one litre of unleaded 98 octane and NOK 13.83 for one litre of unleaded 95 octane; an increase of 9 and 8.4 per cent respectively.

Reduced sales of heating products

The total sales of heating and lighting kerosene and light heating oils amounted to 38 million litres; a reduction of 39.7 per cent compared to November 2010. The reduction may be due to high average temperatures and lower electricity prices. The price of one litre of heating oil was NOK 10.09; a 19.8 per cent increase compared to last year.

Delivery days:

There were 22 delivery days in November this year, the same as in November 2010.
