Increased sales of auto diesel

Total sales of petroleum products came to a total of 845 million litres in September 2008, a small increase by 3.2 per cent or 26 million litres compared to the same period last year. Sales of auto diesel increased with 7.7 per cent in the same period.

Total sales of motor gasoline ended at 152 million liters, a decrease by 5 per cent compared to September 2007. The sales of auto diesel increased with 10.2 per cent. Sale of motor gasoline and auto diesel makes out 52.1 per cent of the total sale of petroleum products.

Sales of heating and lighting kerosene decreased by 6 per cent while sales of light heating oils increased by 6.2 per cent.

In September total sales of jet fuel ended at 70 million litres, an increase by 7.6 per cent compared to the same period last year.

There were 22 delivery days in September, in September 2007 there where 20.
