Increase in sales of auto diesel

Total sales of petroleum products came to a total of 795 million litres in May 2007, equal to the amount sold in May 2006. The sales of auto diesel went up, while the sales of motor gasoline decreased.

For the last three years sales of motor gasoline has decreased, while the sales of auto diesel has increased, and this development continues. There was a decrease in the sales of motor gasoline by 4.2 per cent, from 182 million litres sold in May 2006 and 175 million litres sold May this year. For the same period, sales of auto diesel increased by 9.4 per cent, from 226 million litres to 247 million litres. Sale of motor gasoline and auto diesel makes out 53 per cent of the total sale of petroleum products.

Jet fuel

Total sales of jet fuel amounted to 73 million litres in May 2007, a small increase by 1.3 per cent compared to May 2006.The total sale of heating oils came to 39 million liters in May 2007, a decrease of 9 million liters compared to May 2006.

There were 20 delivery days in May 2007, the same as in May 2006.
