Sales of petroleum products and liquid biofuels, November 2006, preliminary figures

Sales of light heating oils ended at 63 million liters in November, an increase by 35.7 per cent, or 17 million liters, compared with the corresponding month last year. Sales of heating and lighting kerosene increased by 26.1 per cent in the same period, total sales ended at 11 million litres. Total sales of motor gasoline ended at 158 million litres in November 2006, a decrease by 2.4 per cent compared with November 2005, while the sales of auto diesel rose by 8.4 per cent in the same period, and total sale ended up at 242 million litres.

Sales of auto diesel make out 48.3 per cent of the total sales of petroleum products, sales of motor gasoline make out 19 per cent. In November total sales of jet fuel ended at 72 million litres, a decrease by 2.3 per cent, or 3 million litres, compared to the same period last year.

There were 22 delivery days in November, the same as in the corresponding month in 2005.
