Sales of petroleum products and liquid biofuels, September 2006, preliminary figures

Total sales of motor gasoline ended at 169 million liters, a decrease by 6.4 per cent compared to September 2005. Sales of auto diesel increased by 1.2 percent compared to September 2005. Sale of motor gasoline and auto diesel makes out 47.2 per cent of the total sale of petroleum products.

Sales of heating and lighting kerosene and light heating oils decreased by 13.6 and 8.3 per cent in September 2006 compared to September 2005.

In September total sales of jet fuel ended at 74 million litres, an increase by 13.5 per cent compared to the same period last year.

There were 21 delivery days in September, the same as in September 2006.
