Small increase in sales

Total sales of petroleum products came to a total of 736 million litres in April 2006, an increase by 1.3 per cent compared to the same period last year.

Total sales of petroleum products came to a total of 736 million litres in April 2006, an increase of 8 million liters compared to the same period last year.

All through 2006 the sales of motor gasoline has decreased while the sales of auto diesel has increased. This month however, sales of auto diesel also decreases, from 199 million liters sold in April 2005 to 191 million sold in April 2006. Motor gasoline and auto diesel makes out 48 per cent of the total sale of petroleum products.

Heavy heating oils and light heating oils increased by 11.5 per cent and 18.2 per cent respectively. The total sale of heating oils came to 100 million liters in April 2006, an increase of 12 million liters compared to April 2006.

There were 17 delivery days in April, in April 2005 there where 21.
