Increased sales of petroleum products

Total sales of petroleum products came to a total of 2350 million litres in the first quarter of 2006. This is an increase by 7.6 per cent compared with the same period last year.

Compared with the three fist months of 2005, the total sale of auto diesel increased by 101 million litres in the first quarter of 2006. Sale of auto diesel makes out 27 per cent of total sales of petroleum products.

There was a decrease in the sales of motor gasoline by 2.3 per cent or 11 million litres in the first quarter of 2006 compared to the same period in 2005. Sales of motor gasoline makes out 24 per cent of the total sale of petroleum products.

In the first quarter of 2006 the deliveries of lighting kerosene and light heating oil increased by 1 and 8 per cent.

There were 23 delivery days in March, in March 2005 there where 20.
