Increased sales of petroleum products

Total sales of petroleum products in February 2006 came to a total of 741 million litres, an increase of 1.8 per cent compared with February last year, when the total sales came to 728 million litres. The largest increase was recorded in sales of auto diesel.

Compared with February 2005, the total sale of auto diesel increased by 22 million litres. Sales of auto diesel make out 27 per cent of total sales of petroleum products. Sales of motor gasoline make out 20 per cent of the total sale, and compared with February 2005 sales of motor gasoline decreased by 4.1 per cent or 6 million litres.

In February the deliveries of lighting kerosene decreased by 12.4 per cent. Sales light heating oil amounted to 60 million litres, the same amount as in February 2005.

There were 20 delivery days in February, the same as in February 2005.
