Heating products

In January the deliveries of lighting kerosene and light heating oil decreased by 37.2 and 37.1 per cent respectively. This decrease is mainly due to reduced sale for heating purposes to private and public customers, and can partly be explained by relatively high temperatures, and relatively low electricity prices this winter.

Compared with January 2004, the total sale of motor gasoline decreased by 8.6 per cent, and amounted to 152 million litres. The sale of dutiable auto diesel increased by 3.6 per cent, and came to a total sale of 127 million litres.
