Deliveries of motor gasoline decreased

The deliveries of motor gasoline in July totalled 209 million litres, 5.6 per cent lower than in July 2003. The deliveries of auto diesel increased by 1.1 per cent to 179 million litres, of which taxed auto diesel made up 5.8 per cent.

The deliveries of jet fuel increased by 27.1 per cent in July compared with July 2003.

Total deliveries

The total deliveries of petroleum products came to 781 million litres, a 0.8 per cent decline compared with July last year.

The past 12 months

The total deliveries of petroleum products for the past 12 months were 9 313 million litres, 1.7 per cent less than in the previous 12-month period. Most products had fewer deliveries in this period. The deliveries of auto diesel showed an increase of 3.5 per cent. Light heating oil showed the biggest decrease, at 15.7 per cent.

There were 22 delivery days in July 2004 against 23 in July 2003.
