Deliveries of motor gasoline down

The deliveries of motor gasoline came to 185 million litres in May 2004, a 2.4 per cent decrease compared with May last year. The deliveries of auto diesel increased by 2.7 per cent.

The total deliveries of motor gasoline came to 2 228 million litres in the past 12 month, a decrease of 0.5 per cent compared with the previous 12 month period

Increase in auto diesel sales

For the past 12 month period deliveries of auto diesel rose by 3.6 per cent compared with the previous 12 month period.

Heating products declined

For the past 12-month period deliveries of light heating oil and heating and lighting kerosene went down by 12.8 and 5.7 per cent respectively. In May the deliveries of light heating oil and heating and lighting kerosene decreased by 19.0 and 17.9 per cent respectively.

Total deliveries

The total deliveries of petroleum products came to 714 million litres in May, a 6.0 per cent decrease compared with the same month last year. During the past 12 month, the deliveries have declined by 1.7 per cent and were 9 263 million litres.

There were 18 delivery days in May 2004, and 20 in the corresponding month of 2003.
