Fewer deliveries of heating products

Total deliveries of petroleum products declined by 3.3 per cent in February compared with February 2003, and totalled 749 million litres. Heating products and marine gas oil contributed the most to the decrease.

The deliveries of marine gas oil came to 134 million litres in February, a 7.5 per cent decrease compared with the same month last year.

Heating products

In February the deliveries of light heating oil and heating and lighting kerosene decreased by 30.9 and 16.3 per cent respectively.

Jet fuel increased

The deliveries of Jet fuel came to 75 million litres in February, a 53.3 per cent increase compared with February 2003.

Past 12 months

During the past 12 months total deliveries came to 9 305 million litres, a 0.2 per cent decrease compared with the previous 12-month period. The deliveries of auto diesel increased by 1.7 per cent while the deliveries of motor gasoline decreased by 1.2 per cent.

There were 20 delivery days in February 2004 as in February 2003.
